As Project Construction Manager, my main duties and responsibilities are to lead all functions of construction and commissioning project management including planning, designing, processing, specs-approvals, managing staff, supervising sub-contractors, budgeting, scheduling, progress reporting and timely completion of projects.

As Site Manager, I had to participate in project construction decisions, to provide professional construction management and related services in connection with the Project. I am responsible for implementation of Site Quality Plan with the support of the SQ Managers. I cooperate with the Field Project Manager and I am involved in all construction matters and operations on Site. I carry the authority and will fully function as the Field Project Manager during his absence.  I am  managing Construction & Commissioning subcontractors/vendors   and serving as the primary point of contact with the subcontractors for all communications to and from the subcontractors.
My main duties and responsibilities are listed below:
o	responsible for Safety and Environmental Protection;
o	responsible for Site Security;
o	to ensure that the processes needed for the  Quality Management System are established, implemented and maintained in conformity with international standars, applicable for the project; 
o	to define the quality objectives;
o	to keep relations with the Owner and to secure its satisfaction by fulfilling the Contract obligations in terms of quality, timing and cost.

I had the authority over all the construction people and principally to co- ordinate all the Site activities, interfacing the Discipline Managers.
My main responsibilities were as follows:
o	to update and develop the Construction Schedules in detail, optimizing sequences and limiting any overlapping;
o	to co-operate with the site planners in preparing or revising detailed construction schedules and defining priorities;
o	to participate  in  the  definition  for  the  construction  strategy  
o	to implement and ensure the correct fulfillment of the Site safety program, including subcontractors’ activities;
o	to ensure that all Site personnel is aware of the specified quality standards;
o	to enforce implementation of the construction plan and procedures on the job Site;
o	to ensure that the plant is constructed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and local regulations;
o	to organize split and delegation of responsibilities among the field supervision teams and ensure a clear understanding of each function;
o	to control construction progress and establish clearly defined actions and responsibilities and time-frame for their implementation to fulfill with construction schedule requirement;
o	to report any Non-Conformance to the Site Manager and to the Site Quality Manager;
o	Mechanical Completion control and reporting; together with the Commissioning Manager, to ensure congruence between the completion of Construction and Plant Commissioning phases;
o	to ensure that Mechanical Completion punch list items   are satisfactorily closed and duly signed off.

I had to assign to the Supervisors tasks, such as checking of construction work, control of construction material and allocation of resources, etc. and I was supported by the Field Project Engineer and Site engineers.
I used to report to the Construction Manager on regular basis while performing my assigned activities as listed below in a skillful and workmanlike manner under my own responsibilities:
o	to establish and execute construction schedule of each discipline;
o	to implement work procedure for the construction work method and technique (e.g. Method Statements);
o	to update and monitor work progress;
o	to report any Non Conformities to the Construction Manager and to the Site Quality Manager;
o	to witness and support inspections, measurements and tests;
o	to  evaluate  efficiency  and  estimate  resources  allocation,  such  as direct 

manpower and construction equipment, etc.
o	to report the preservation status of equipment and material stored on field and after installation;
o	to report the construction progress and issues to C.M.


	System Engineer (2007):
•	Project Engineer & Project Manager Junior of a fan cooler (380 MWt), Power Plant (400 MWe + 380MWt) placed in Moncalieri (Turin, Italy), Iren Energia. 






	Commissioning  Coordinator  (2006/2007):

Reporting to the Discipline Leader, I led construction activities for mechanical discipline, ensuring that plant construction works were performed according to the civil work, erection schedules and project documents (drawings, Method Statements, etc.), within the assigned cost budget, according to Safety regulations and to the terms and conditions of subcontracts.
