LHP Europe is a privately held engineering and systems integration company headquartered in Bologna with offices in Germany & the United States. We specialize in engineering services & solutions for the Automotive, Agricultural, Mobility and Manufacturing industries.
LHP Europe Srl is currently looking to hire a CAD Engineer to support its growing client portfolio and number of projects.
The resource will be responsible for the following activities:
- Automotive OEM customer located in the Bologna/Modena area
- Translate functional and configurational specifications into technical requirements
- Manage and process new products’ development requests through PDM (Product Data Management) software
- Maintenance and change order management of BOM structure and attributes
- Versioning and process documentation
- Manage, document and approve release of new CAD drawings or changes to existing ones
- Maintenance of master components data
- Product features update through PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software
- Manage and update colors configuration through PLM software
- Make/Buy consistency check with dedicated team on tasks
- Technical consistency check with dedicated team on assignments
The ideal candidate must have the following background:
- Master’s degree in automotive, mechanical engineering or similar
- 1+ years of experience in automotive/manufacturing industries
The ideal Candidate should have the following expertise:
- Knowledge of SAP tools for PDM, PLM
- BOM management knowledge
- Knowledge of Ti-Syncro
- Knowledge of CAD drawing and versioning
Other important requirements are:
- Italian language proficiency at least B2
- English language proficiency B2 or higher
- German language knowledge is a plus
- Open to travel and temporary transfers
