HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER (ENGLISH ADVANCED LEVEL)

Adecco Italia s.p.a. is looking for a Health and Safety Officer.The profile will be working in one of the Offices located in Rome as a member of the Italy Sector Sector under the supervision of the Head of Italy Sector and in cooperation with relevant colleagues in the Sector and other relevant Sectors in the Agency. He/she will be responsible for the following tasks:• Monitor the day-to-day activities related to security and occupational safety and health (OSH) • Monitoring and staying updated on safety regulations and standards applicable • Support identifying measures and processes to help protect workers and ensure safety at the workplaces • Support in the evaluation and assessment of workplace environment and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, identifying possible challenges and propose solutions• Develop safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with local laws and regulations • Support the coordination of OSH visits and/or medical programs and maintain relevant records • Support organising and conduct health and safety induction/trainings and develop related materials for possible consultation, as needed.• Investigate health-related complaints to ensure compliance with health legislation and regulations.• Support the responsible officer in the purchase of security items and services and maintain related database ad inventory • Support controlling entrance and departure of employees/visitors as needed • Maintaining electronic and paper archive security related documents, keep records and manage databases (security related issues), draft reports, minutes and statistics as requested• Perform any other tasks in the interest of the serviceEssential1. Three-year University degree in administrative studies, environmental science, engineering and/or other relevant fields. 2. Previous relevant professional experience in similar tasks of at least 2 years.3. Excellent command of both English and Italian language. Advantageous1.
