Reporting to the RVP Alliances & Channels Italy, the PAM (Partner Account Manager) will work within an experienced Alliance Team, using all Salesforce values to deliver across all aspects of the assigned Consulting Partners.
The new PAM will lead partner engagement to deploy GTM and business plans, achieve yearly quota and targets, establish executive relationships and portray our value proposition, with special focus on Data, AI and CRM.
The PAM will be accountable for maintaining customer relationships that promote retention and loyalty with their customers, whilst working closely with Partner Sales Managers (PSMs), account managers, sales leaders, marketing, professional services and all key stakeholders to support them and achieve accelerated sales targets and enable world class deployment practices.
Key Responsibilities • Be the undisputed leader of the global engagement with the designated partners • Proactively and reactively develop and maintain relationships at any level within the organizations of designated partners • Take ownership in supporting partners with any queries using company processes to give the best experience of Salesforce and advise them according to partner agreements • Manage proactive and reactive communications with partners through the Partners Community and all designated channels • Develop a collaborative approach with the designated partners and key Salesforce functions like Sales, Pres Sales, Marketing and Professional Services • Develop Business Plans in synch with all company functions and set up the adequate governance and recurrent business reviews • Assist partners in understanding how best to pitch our technology, aligning Salesforce and Partners storytelling • Plan comprehensive enabling programs in collaboration with internal supporting functions to improve Partner's knowledge on specific Industries & Clouds while developing Salesforce Practices Capacities and Capabilities • Shape demand generation programs and drive the execution involving all related team members • Liaise with internal teams and collaborators to process or action any requests from designated channel partners • Support Partner Sales Managers in developing sales relationships within Partners organizations • Identify risks and take vital steps to mitigate subscriptions cancellations in collaboration with PSMs and Sales • Forecast for revenues and handle any opportunities or risks Skills and Qualifications • Be an expert of Partner Ecosystems in the Cloud market • Used to carefully measure the path to target maximising reporting and analytical tools • Enjoy challenges and coming up with structured plans and ability to rigorously follow up and deliver strategic and quarterly objectives • Have problem solving and troubleshooting skills • Be able to demonstrate organisational skills, able to prioritise and work to deadlines • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, for internal and external engagement • Be relentless in their approach to managing opportunities • A good team player with a ‘can-do’ positive attitude • Possess excellent attention to detail and take pride in the quality of their performance • Clear communicator, both written and verbal, with good interpersonal skills • Adaptable and able to deliver at high pace in an highly dynamic, performance-focused environment Accommodations If you require assistance due to a disability applying for open positions please submit a request via this Accommodations Request Form.
