Position Description.
Want to leverage your technical sales skills working in the Computer Networking industry for an innovative, fast-growing company? If yes, this role might be for you.
Domotz is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our EMEA team, with a solid background in network administration and network monitoring.
As a Technical Sales Engineer at Domotz, you will have the opportunity to combine your strong technical knowledge in networking with your sales expertise to drive the success of our cutting-edge software products.
This is a Technical Sales Engineer role at Domotz (Mon-Fri; GMT Working hours).
In this role you will collaborate with the wider Domotz team and work closely with your team.
You will be responsible for delivering technical presentations and demonstrations, conducting product evaluations and proof-of-concepts, onboarding new customers, providing technical training, and serving as a technical resource for our sales force.
Domotz approaches sales as an oppportunity to educate our partners through the value we bring and how we can become a trusted partner to their organization.
Your ability to educate them is critical for our continued success.
Responsibilities.
Collaborate with the sales team to expand the client base.
Work in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor for our solutions.
Provide comprehensive technical support to clients throughout the sales cycle and post-sales, educating about Domotz products and solutions, having one-to-one onboarding technical meetings (presales), and helping customers troubleshooting (postsales).
Design the best solution for each project, by understanding the need from the end customer.
Promote pilots and proof of concept implementations.
Understand competitive landscape for each solution and follow-up each project with the technical customers.
Attend technical meetings and workshops at international level.
What You Bring To The Team.
Technical degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
2-3 years of experience as a B2B Sales Engineer for SaaS solutions.
Previous experience as system engineers, network engineers, or developers.
Strong knowledge of network monitoring and networking devices and protocols.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong presentation and active listening skills.
Ability to prioritize, stay organised, and handle changing priorities.
A growth mindset as our industry is rapidly changing and new information is shared daily.
Thrive in a team environment where knowledge sharing and active contributions are encouraged.
Ability to work independently and remotely.
Certifications in networking, such as CCNA, CCNP, or Network+, Certifications in cybersecurity, such as CEH, and Certifications in Infrastructure, such as MCSE, are a plus.
Experience in the MSP industry is a plus.
