Business developer/operation manager

I coordinated various R&D projects, the main one was an experimental car sharing company: a group of companies, from different industries, whose aggregated revenues amount to almost half billion, joined its strengths to improve Messina’s mobility. I’ve supervised the company’s start-up which has been successfully landed together with the 4 people team I was managing, we achieved:
- University of Messina partnership for parking stations in the campuses, discounts for students, professors and employees
- Agreements with Municipality of Messina, Hospital G. Martino and Catania Airport for free of charge parking stations 
- Successful technology test and setup for 25 Smart fortwo and forfour fleet
- Advanced education institute (ITS Aerospazio Sicilia) foundation together with Catania airport, Comiso Municipality, SEAS (Ryanair exclusive maintenance contractor), University of Messina, Kore University
- Financial coverage for 1 year concerning all the technology expenditures thanks to a grant (ICS) issued from MATTM 

After the M.Sc., a former colleague and I had two things in common: we could not wait to apply what we learned and hated parking. We found a software house and five business angels who believed in our idea, started deploying the technology and fundraising. As a Founder I was I charge of Business development and Marketing, thus I:
- interviewed more than 110 prospects outside certain garages and used their feedbacks to deploy the technology mock-up
- fundraised 25.000€ from five business angels for technology development
- led product management activities for 6 mobile apps (valet, driver and garage apps for Android and iOS) and the dashboard
- pitched the company in front of A4I Milan, Sharkbites, EY Alitalia Hackathon, Polihub, Speedmiup, S. I. Intesa San Paolo
- established agreements with the main 3 garage companies in Milan city centre covering 75% of available garages

I’ve been studied and worked with 48 colleagues from 15 different countries with different energy backgrounds. We have shared and exchanged our knowhow and experiences grasping new knowledge directly from industry professionals and Eni managers.
