Politecnico di Milano
ott 2020 - Attualmente
1) Developed software for the automatic analysis and annotation of physiological signals (mainly ECG and ABP waveforms), using Python and MATLAB.
2) Developed Artificial Intelligence predictive models based on structured clinical data, using Python and PostgreSQL.
3) Took care of the management and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation and software.
International Visiting Student
Massachusetts Institute of Technology
feb 2020 - mar 2020
1) Developed part of my Master’s Thesis project thanks to a collaboration between SPINlabS (Politecnico di Milano,
Milan, Italy) and Laboratory for Computational Physiology (LCP) (MIT, Cambridge (MA)).
2) Participated in the Datathon that took place at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) (Boston (MA)) for
the Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning Symposium.
Team Mentor
Humanitas Research Hospital
feb 2020 - feb 2020
1) Participated as a mentor to the 2nd Milan Critical Care Datathon, after having already participated, as a standard participant, to the 1st edition the previous year.
2) Demonstrated ability to work as a part of a team made of people coming from different parts of the world and for the sake of a common project, contributing to win the competition.
3) Investigated the correlation between the poor efficacy of trials of new therapies for sepsis and the heterogeneity of septic population, using Machine Learning unsupervised algorithms.
