Production support engineer
OrsayPhysics (Fuveau, France)
mag 2019 - Attualmente
After a fixed-term contract of 5 months in R&D, Orsay Physics offered me a stable employment as the Support engineer of the production. I am expected to deeply understand all of our systems and be able to improve methods for their production.
In order to do this, I give an active support in the production of Focused Ion Beam columns, Scansion Electrons columns and Gas Injection Systems and their testing. Moreover, I systematically cooperate with the R&D in order to give a feedback and cues for developing new designs.
It is also my task to give a support to our customers for installing our systems or troubleshoot them when they are not giving their best.
This work hallows me put into practice - and to improve - every day my knowledges in domains such as high vacuum systems, electrical engineering, electronics, the subatomic particle physics , informatics... and to develop my practical skills as engineer.
I have also the opportunity to develop my skills in management and to deeply understand tools for better handling the production in companies and their sales.

Informazioni addizionali
My educational background has given me good knowledge in almost every typology of materials and in their characterization.
Therefore, I have the bases to reason on their microstructure, properties and production processes. I'd like to unite this knowledge with my experience in ion/electronic microscopy and vacuum systems with the aim of developing new technologies - or implementing existing ones - in the domain of materials and their characterization.
