Junior legal counsel/contracts specialist/contracts manager

During these years I was responsible for reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts; analyzing probable outcomes of cases using legal precedents; presenting and summarizing cases to judges; developing strategies and arguments, gathering evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions; ex- amining legal data to determine advisability of defending or prosecuting lawsuits; negotiating settlements of civil, commercial and labour disputes.

During my time at VISA I was responsible for drafting agreements for submission to clients in Europe; modifying and finalizing Client Incentive Agreements working closely with internal Sales, Finance and Tax teams during the negotiation and closing process; verifying incentives information pro- vided by Account Executive with the Financial team to ensure final business and contract terms do not cause revenue deferrals; maintaining and updating an archive and a database of all legal templates/information; forecasting and evaluating fi- nancial risks together with identifying procedures to avoid or minimize their impact and ensuring contractual governance.

During my time at SAP, I was in charge of preparing Cloud and On-Premise contracts for submission to SAP customers in the USA and Canada; drafting, modifying and finalizing contracts and/or licensing agreements, includ- ing new and add-on business for software and services, maintenance and training; contract validation working closely with internal Sales, Pricing, and Revenue Recog- nition teams during the drafting and closing process; verifying customer, user and pricing information provided by Account Executive with Pricing team, and working with Revenue Recognition team to ensure final business and contract terms do not cause revenue deferrals; explaining contract terms and structure to customers and
sales; contributing to on time processing of customer sales orders into SAP systems; anticipating problems and initiating actions to resolve those using professional concepts, company policies and procedures.
