Project: Duqm Refinery – Utilities and Offsites, JV with Samsung Engineering • Value: USD 2 billion • Client: Duqm Refinery & Petrochemical Industries LLC (DRPIC), Oman.
Led the scope definition, bidding and post order management of purchase orders valued USD 50 million, contributing to a successful supply cycle.
▪ Managed the techno-commercial evaluation of 10 material requisitions of rotating packages, accelerating the placement of enforceable purchase orders.
▪ Oversaw the establishment of frame agreements for supply of motors from Siemens, WEG and ABB and mechanical seals from EagleBurgmann as well as their implementation among more than 50 OEMs.
▪ Directed a cross-functional team of 8 technical, quality control and logistics engineers and the interface with JV partner on mechanical scope.
▪ Devised a milestones-driven management plan anticipating project needs and ensuring timely completion of POs with zero to negative variations and no work transfer to site.
▪ Recognized by management for successful management of all packages, particularly the company’s first modularized boiler package, reducing erection duration by around 70%.
▪ Volunteered as a safety officer to streamline safe practices across all business aspects.

Project: Fadhili Gas Plant – Sulfur Recovery Facilities • Value: USD 1.7 billion • Client: Saudi Aramco, KSA
Executed purchase orders worth USD 30 million from placement up to site installation, driving on-schedule and on-budget delivery.
▪ Received increased responsibilities within 6 months of joining the project, handling additionally 2 long lead rotating packages and multiple chemicals orders.
▪ Worked closely with the delivery manager to monitor the complete rotating packages scope (around 25 orders) improving progress reporting, interface and work front to site.
▪ Established an efficient system of deliverables workflow improving completion of engineering and manufacturing.
▪ Completed 16 weeks Graduate program outperforming 70 + graduates in technical and on-the-job training.

Graduation project
Collaborated with 3 colleagues to design a heavy fuel oil supply system for the cement factory’s burners.
▪ Helped the client unlock the potential of the existing facility by proposing an optimized and integrated solution to the operational system.
▪ Presented a FEED study of the proposal, including design of the heat exchangers and steam headers as per ASME Code and TEMA Standards as well as the complete fuel and steam-condensate circuits.
▪ Won the Order of Engineers and Architects Project Exhibition Distinction Award.
