Descripción del trabajo The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Application Engineer (m/f/*) for Personal Safety Division (PSD) at 3M Italy, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Helping growing the Italian PSD business and strengthen the South Europe Application Engineers team through product/market support, expertise delivery, new product introduction and thought leadership activities.
Identifying new opportunities and completing high impact technical programs with customers Technical lead for new product commercialization activities and helping to build competitive value propositions for effective new product introductions.
Interpreting industry standards & regulations to provide expertise to both 3M and customers.
Harnessing insights from market & customers to maintain flow of major technical contributions and create market focused technical publications.
Delivering customer / market focused technical training and developing and leveraging inspirational e-Media resources.
Leveraging your knowledge to position 3M as the thought leader within the PPE industry and within supported markets.
You will join a team of 10 South Europe Application Engineers (of which 3 are dedicated to Italy).
The successful candidate will drive growth for PSD by becoming the Italian expert in Fall Protection, Communication Solutions and supporting the Utilities vertical.
Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements.
Engineer (generalist), Science degree or relevant industry experience Previous experience in similar roles (technical support) Fluent in English Customer oriented.
good customer and inter-personal contact / listening skills Able to communicate and network at all levels both inside and outside of 3M Capability to work in an International and remote environment Autonomy and self initiative Teamwork attitude Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include.
Ideally with Occupational Health & Safety knowledge Leadership skills Job specifics.
