ASSOCIATE SCIENTIST - SEPARATION SCIENCE

For a Pharmaceutical company, we are looking for an ASSOCIATE SCIENTIST The associate Associate Scientist is expected to support the testing of scientific studies for vaccine technical programs as they progress from early development into Phase I/II, Phase III, technology transfer and process performance qualification at the intended commercial site.
Responsabilità.
- Participates in the execution of specific development testing under direction, - Works in both GMP and non GMP setting, execute to high standards testing of clinical material.
- Works closely under the direction of senior scientific staff to implement and interpret the data from development projects.
- Utilizes scientific knowledge and experience to influence technical decisions.
- Functions effectively as a core team member on multiple concurrent projects and may leads small projects and established work processes.
- Helps to solve complex problems through collaborations with others, taking a new perspective on existing solutions.
- Prepares and presents scientific data in internal meeting within own Technical R&D area - Communicates effectively with manager and senior scientific staff in order to ensure progression of project-related work - Understands, applies and proactive promotes good behaviours in Good Manufacturing Practice, Health & Safety and Quality Assurance.
Technical skills.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of the main separative techniques and/or spectroscopy and spectrometry applied to the pharmaceutical industry - Capillary electrophoresis, high-performance liquid chromatography including reverse phase, ion chromatography size-exclusion and associated detectors (UV, CAD, RI, MALS), NMR and mass spectrometry.
Main requirements.
- Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related scientific field - Very good level of spoken and written English as well as conversational.
- Innovative thinking is a plus, be able to identify link between different components of a problem or situation related to own work.
