Responsibilities The Automation Field technician reports directly to the CTO and is expected to perform the following activities.
- Deploy and adapt the PLC code on the P-series packaging machines.
- Install, Commission and maintain the current and future fleet of P-series machines - Train the client’s technicians on proper use and maintenance of the machine - Share accurate feedback and useful insights from the field to the R&D department - Coordinate with a team of internal and external resources to guarantee the correct timing and budget of each deployment.
- Offer technical on-site support from a software and electrical standpoint.
- Flexibility on the ‘to do’ tasks that include strategic but also ‘hands on’ activities   Qualifications The ideal candidate has the following experience and characteristics.
- 2 to 6 years of experience in the deployment of industrial machinery - Experience with PLC coding using structured text (ST) - Ability to work and coordinate within a team of internal and external resources - Experience with electrical systems and scheme, with hands-on activities.
- Knowledge at B1 level or above of the English language and native Italian - Skills of autonomy, proactivity, flexibility, organization and attention to details are a must - You need to have and show a ‘can do’ attitude in order to succeed in this role Furthermore are highly appreciated.
- Familiarity with the Beckhoff product line and the TwinCat platform.
