Your role   As a Custom Compliance Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company complies with all customs and trade regulations.
You will work closely with various teams to manage customs processes, mitigate risks, and ensure efficient import/export operations and identify opportunity to reduce duty impact or improve service level.
Main responsibilities.
•    Customs Compliance.
Ensure compliance with all applicable customs laws, regulations, and trade agreements.
Stay updated on all regulatory changes and ensure the company adapts and align to new requirements.
•    Project Management.
Lead and manage customs-related projects, ensuring timely and effective implementation.
•    Risk Management.
Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential compliance issues.
•    Process Improvement.
Implement process improvements and technology solutions to enhance customs operations and monitoring, including managing and collaborating with external consultants to drive improvements.
•    Stakeholder Collaboration.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including customs authorities and brokers, to ensure smooth operations.
•    KPI Development.
Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the current status and drive continuous improvement in customs compliance processes.
Main requirements.
•    Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business, Law, or a related field.
•    2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Accounting, Compliance, International Trade, or a related field.
•    Strong project management skills.
•    Knowledge of Regulatory and Compliance topics is a plus.
•    Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
•    Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•    Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
•    Willingness to travel as needed.
