ENGLISH LANGUAGE INSTRUCTOR

Domyn is  seeking an experienced English Language Instructor to join our growing corporate team in Milan.
In this role, you will specialize in helping technical and business professionals, such as engineers, developers, product, and commercial teams, improve their ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and confidently in English.
Your teaching will focus on real-world business scenarios including presentations, documentation, cross-functional meetings, and stakeholder communication.
This is an ideal position for someone who is passionate about language education in a technical environment and thrives on helping learners unlock fluency in high-impact professional contexts.
Key Responsibilities.
Deliver tailored English instruction to professionals in technical and business roles (e.
.
software engineers, data analysts, product managers) who generally speak Italian as a primary language.
Focus on communication skills for technical presentations, documentation, meetings, and collaboration with international teams.
Conduct 1to1s and small-group lessons in a hybrid or on-site format, depending on learner needs.
Customize materials and lesson plans aligned with each learner’s job function and English proficiency.
Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to help learners improve fluency, clarity, and confidence.
Collaborate with team leads and HR/L&D departments to align on learning goals, track progress, and report results.
Support preparation for internal and external communication tasks such as demos, conference talks, or client meetings.
Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications.
Native Italian and English speaker with 3+ years of experience teaching Business English, ideally to technical or engineering professionals.
Strong understanding of technical vocabulary, communication workflows, and workplace language in tech-driven environments.
Comfortable explaining and supporting English communication around complex technical topics (e.
.
architecture, data pipelines, APIs).
Experienced in adapting instructional content to match real work scenarios and learner-specific use cases.
Strong interpersonal and coaching skills—able to create a safe space for learning and improvement.
