All duties and responsibilities are to be performed inaccordance with Royal Caribbean Internationalus The Royal Way, SQM standards,USPH and HACCP guidelines, environmental, and work place safety policies andprocedures.
Prebably previous shipboard experience Hiring Requirements.
Cruise ship experience is a must.
u00b7 Proof of Chef Apprenticeship completion or equivalency.
u00b7 Eight to ten years experience cooking and preparing food together with a managerial background in 4 or 5 star hotels, restaurants or high volume food servicefacilities.
u00b7 Written references from former employers are required.
u00b7 Abilityto read, interpret and demonstrate the preparation of recipes for all basicmeat, fish, sauce and side dishes according to Royal Caribbean InternationalusThe Royal Way.
The demonstration includes advanced cooking methods such asbraise, sautu00e9, broil and grill and the use of a variety of knifes to slice,dice, chop, julienne, etc.
u00b7 Demonstrate'quantity cooking' ability, and knowledge of the proper utilization of technologically advanced kitchen equipment.
u00b7 Extensiveknowledge of food handling procedures with regard to public health standards.
u00b7 Extensiveknowledge of USPH codes and regulations preferred.
