JOB SUMMARY Member of the Fem Care Team that will support different areas within FemCare based on production needs.
Responsible for ensuring the main packaging area is operational as it relates to materials and all related equipment.
Responsible for operations of Webbing Regrind equipment, and cleanliness of the FemCare area.
Ensures safety, quality, production, and scrap standards meet operational objectives, and maintains a safe work environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Pack Transport and scan shippers to area.
Monitor changeovers to scan off shippers.
Fill packaging robots with shippers as needed.
Change pesters bundling film as needed.
Change tape into case packers as needed.
Clear jams and monitor generic printer.
Webbing Feeds Webbing grinder with the rework fiber/cotton material.
Maintains strict control of all raw material usages, and product yields.
Complete required in process inspection per the area requirements.
Monitors grinder operation to assure all operating parameters are being maintained.
Required to utilize manual or automated pallet jack for material/product movement.
Supplies Production lines with necessary raw materials.
Maintains production, batch, and quality records as required.
Utility Maintain cleaning supplies in dedicated area.
Collect and dispose of trash and scrap materials.
Respond to Filter house alarm and clean accordingly.
Place correct recycle material in designated area.
Maintains work area in accordance with 5S standards.
General Must consistently meet prescribed safety, quality, production, and efficiency standards.
Communicates process/mechanical abnormalities to Team Leader & Supervisor to facilitate corrections in a timely manner.
Follows all Edgewell safety/cGMP policies and guidelines.
Required to work overtime/alternate schedules as business needs dictate.
Responsible for daily turnover communication between shifts with fellow Team Members and Management.
Perform other duties as directed by Team Leader and/or Supervisor.
HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES Be aware of and follow the Environmental Policy and EH&S work instructions/procedures that apply to the job.
Perform every job safely, for the benefit of self, co-workers, contractors, and for the protection of facilities.
This includes the use of required personal protective equipment and use of safety equipment/devices, guarding, as well as safe work practices.
Immediately report every job-related injury or illness, regardless of severity, to a team leader/supervisor.
Assist in investigating accidents as directed by your supervisor.
Take necessary actions to correct or stop any unsafe conditions or practices.
Review Material Safety Data Sheet instructions before working with any chemical product.
Maintain work area in safe condition by ensuring the work area is clean and orderly.
QUALITY ASSURANCE RESPONSIBILITIES Accurately and timely complete all Quality checks and properly document.
Colleagues are responsible for their own quality and that of colleagues within their span of control.
Colleagues are responsible to follow all established Quality procedures and instructions.
Notify supervision for corrective action if and when defects are found and/or parts/processes do not conform to specifications.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE Education.
HS Diploma or GED preferred, or the ability to achieve GED within 12 months of hire.
Company assistance available.
Experience.
Over one month, up to six months.
Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities.
None Testing.
Must prove satisfactory vs.
validated standard of STM Operator Task Series.
