FINANCE - COUNTRY MANAGER

Retail Search is hiring an Accounting Manager for one of the most important Italian Luxury Fashion Brand.
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for coordinating his own team active in the administrative area.
He/she will be responsible for preparation of P&L and BS statements, as well as financial reports, utilizing appropriate accounting control procedures.
The Accounting Manager applies the principles of accounting to keep track of all payments and expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, statements, for the retail network.
We are looking for a flexible, motivated, dynamic, and energetic team member, capable to inspire the team and support the Finance Department.
The person will be based in Paris.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Submit Monthly IFRS closing - Prepare Financial Statement (Local GAAP - PCG) - Prepare VAT declaration and Intrastat reporting - Interact with tax consultant to comply with company Tax&Admin requirements - Manage the relationship with the external auditors in completing audits - Supervise the filing and maintaining of the supplier records - Checking and Entering invoices into the accounts payable system, together with the Account Payable colleague - Processing payments, ensure Purchase Orders are approved in line with business rules - Supervise Receivable process (cash&credit card reconciliation + monthly invoice to Dept Store) - Reconciles bank statements by comparing with general ledger - Contribute to establish and maintain the implementation of accounting and control procedures, including Budget vs Actual comparison - Compile financial information to prepare entries as accrual entries to support monthly reporting EXPERIENCE & SKILLS - Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; - 7/10 years of experience in a retail company as Accounting Manager - Experience in reporting, analysis and forecasting; - Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams; - Fluent in Italian and French   PROFILO DEL CANDIDATO IDEALE Retail Search is hiring an Accounting Manager for one of the most important Italian Luxury Fashion Brand.
