HVAC SME - France, Toulouse - 12 Month Contract Our client, a global biotechnology organisation, is recruiting for a HVAC SME to join their capital project in Toulouse.
This new build facility will house a therapeutic protein production plant, and we are looking for a HVAC SME to help expand our client's biotech operations throughout Europe.
As the HVAC SME you will be responsible for implementing all safety requirements for a new build facility, estimated at approximately m2.
Responsibilities.
Lead Engineer/SME for HVAC (GMP/Non GMP buildings), initially responsible for review of all Design deliverables from JE including Drawings, Datasheets, specifications and Engineering Lists.
Scope includes the review and approval of drawings and technical data regarding HVAC/Air Handling units, chillers/Chilled water, Low pressure hot water, humidification steam, Clean room design, Warehouse cold storage/freezers, glycol system, cooling tower water and compressed air.
Lead on the development of Mechanical, HVAC ductwork, HVAC Control Bid Packages.
Advising A&E and CM on clients? expectations for bid package contents, Assuring that A/E deliverables truly capture existing conditions and site particularities.
Reviewing A&E deliverables, Assuring Bid Package Quality and Timely completion.
Assisting CM during Pre-Bid Meeting.
Evaluation of Construction Bids.
Updates Project Team on Bid Package Progress Responsible for the development and implementation of the HVAC Control strategy Overall Responsibility for the Mechanical Design of the Facility Point person for Vendor review for all HVAC Vendor Packages- including GMP facilities, Cold rooms and freezers, as well as those for the Office and Lab bldg.
Acts as a consultant to the Engineering firm to ensure design meets clients? requirements.
Partners with Engineering firm counterparts to identify opportunities to reduce cost and schedule.
Requirements.
Degree in a related field Experience in HVAC engineering within new build and retrofit projects Background in HVAC / Mechanical implementation / retrofit Experience in other large scale pharma/ biotech projects is beneficial If this role is of interest, please apply now! #LI-CO1
