Main Workplace.
Technical offices in Chieti (CH), with occasional presence required at offices in Rome and Naples, as well as at laboratories and workshops of partners and industrial collaborators, mainly located in the Naples and Salerno areas, or elsewhere in Italy depending on project needs.
Availability for international travel is also required to support technical activities and the implementation of international projects in collaboration with partners.

Profile Description We are looking for one or more young mechanical engineers with at least minimal experience, as well as a senior engineer or equivalent expert, to join our team of professionals.
They will support and manage technical activities and operations related to the development, engineering, and production of ambient air purification systems, including multidisciplinary integrations in Energy Efficiency, IoT, and AI (APA – Air Pollution Abatement technology).
Activities will be conducted in collaboration with technical and industrial project partners and qualified suppliers, particularly for the implementation of a project called NAPE, funded by the PNRR Mission 4, Component 2, NBFC_S8PMI_, CUP B77H, focused on biodiversity and ecosystem protection in marine environments, industrial, and commercial ports.
There may also be collaboration with companies involved in environmental and energy projects in the Campania region.
Processes, prototyping, testing, and implementation range from pollutant, CO₂, and ammonia capture to decarbonization pathways, and integration with IoT and AI solutions to raise the TRL/MRL (Technology and Market Readiness Level) of the technology portfolio, enabling the development of new solutions and optimization of the value chain and selling proposition.
The role includes proactive technical-engineering support for concept development, design, offering, and definition of solutions, services, and products (components, design, bill of materials, prototyping, validation, and testing), and the development of integrated processes for system realization.
The professional will also support the Value Creation and Business Development team in drafting project proposals for national, European, and international calls, and participate in technical meetings with partners, authorities, clients, and stakeholders.
Support for Sales and Marketing teams will also be important, especially in developing new services and solutions based on market trends.
We are looking for graduates in Mechanical Engineering with at least minimal experience and adaptability to agile, distributed, and dynamic work methods.
We are also seeking Senior Mechanical Engineers or equivalent experts with proven experience and the same adaptability.
Assertiveness, interpersonal skills, and excellent organizational and communication abilities complete the ideal profile.

at least 6 years Responsibilities Selected professionals will report to the Technology Management lead at ISCLEANAIR.
The senior professional, supported by junior profiles, will contribute to the development of distinctive programs, projects, and Open Innovation initiatives in the environmental sector.
They will coordinate internal and partner technical-operational meetings, and independently manage prototyping through validation and industrialization phases, cost and investment calculations, guideline development, and task and deadline management (including GANTT charts).
They must be capable of conducting technical studies and analyses to provide insights, simulations, and sensitivity analyses, and formulate new ideas and proposals for tenders and commercial offers, managing new design and planning processes.
Requirements and Skills Master’s degree (preferably in Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent and relevant documented experience; Enthusiasm and motivation to work as part of a team in an innovation and social/environmental value creation initiative; Forward-looking approach to tackle problems and challenges in emerging innovation sectors; Availability and predisposition for dynamic, agile, and flexible work, with systematic feedback and collaboration; Excellent administrative, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; Proficiency in one or more technical design and management tools (CAD, Autodesk or equivalent, 3D Studio, SolidWorks, Inventory, etc.), and excellent use of MS Office; Teamwork and collaborative working skills; Ability to integrate into teams and, in the future, coordinate work phases and projects, including in R&D and pre-commercial environments; Proven ability to plan tasks effectively, meet deadlines, and collaborate with colleagues; Excellent command of Italian and English.
