About the Role.
We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our Surprises Technical & Design Innovation  team for a Maternity Leave Substitution.
You will support the Senior Project Manager in toys design and development.
You will have the opportunity to work in a highly dynamic and international environment, focusing on a broad set of activities and innovative projects, focusing on the development of Kinder Surprise toys.
Main Responsibilities.
In this role, you will develop surprises starting from creative design proposals initially provided by Marketing (internal creativity or licensed items).
You will be responsible for the realization of prototypes, managing external 3D modelers following above mentioned input, respecting internal project work flow, safety requirements and defined cost target.
You will have the opportunity to transform 2D design proposal into a Kinder toy without losing its design esthetics and playability but respecting all production, safety and cost related aspects.
You will be an active contributor to the development, proposing improvements to the design where necessary.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders  (Marketing, Licensing, Quality, Industrialization) throughout the project development.
You will create technical sheets for each item to determine how the item is made (material description, parts design, type of mold) and to check cost (design to cost), also handling 3D printed parts printed internally.
Who we are looking for.
You will bring your university Master's Degree background in Product Design or equivalent and your experience and interest in the field of design and realization.
Your good understanding of plastic injection moulding process and plastic material will be key to perform in the role.
Your dynamic, flexible, proactive approach and ability to work effectively in high - pressure situations within strict deadlines and in a multicultural environment will be key for the role.
You will bring strong relational attitude and team working skills, as well as yous problem-solving attitude and good organizational skills.
Your skills in 3D construction software (Rhinoceros, Solid Works, Maya, Freeform or similar) will be a great asset for us.
Your fluency in English will be key to perform in our environment.
