Job Description We are seeking a reliable, motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Steward to join our back-of-house team.
As a key part of our kitchen operations, you’ll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, supporting chefs with kitchen logistics, and ensuring our high hygiene standards are upheld at all times.
Key Responsibilities.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas including dishes, floors, equipment, and work surfaces Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently Assist with receiving and storing deliveries Ensure rubbish and recycling are disposed of properly and regularly Support kitchen team with basic prep tasks as required Adhere to hygiene, food safety, and OH&S standards at all times Qualifications About You.
A strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail and cleanliness Team player who takes initiative Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and public holidays Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential – we will provide full training Additional Information At Hyde Melbourne Place, we celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all team members.
