We require a candidate with previous private house experience who can multi-task and prioritise duties.
Duties will include.
Anticipate and respond to the principals’ requirements Provide food and beverage service when needed throughout the day Oversee and maintain high standards of service and household operations Manage and train house staff to ensure consistent, discreet, and efficient service Ensuring all inventories, SOPs are maintained and kept up-to-date Monitor presentation and uniform standards for all household staff Supervise packing and unpacking for family members when travelling Ensure all areas of the house are kept immaculate and organised Liaise with vendors or service providers if required Be flexible and responsive to the family’s daily needs and routines Light cooking duties when required, eg a steak and a salad Driving for the principal at times when needed, ideally also comfortable driving in Europe if needed on occasion Candidate Requirements.
Previous private house experience is essential Maintain a calm and adaptable demeanour We seek a candidate who has a forward-thinking approach to proactively meet the principals’ needs Candidates who are technically savvy with the ability to adapt to dynamic situations is essential A fast-paced and efficient work style is necessary Full UK driving licence is ideal Working days.
5 days a week which may include weekends.
Candidate must take holidays when client takes holidays/is travelling (which will be quite a lot!) Working hours.
Target 40 hours per week, some weeks may be more but will be compensated by reducing hours on other weeks.
Flexibility from both parties is key Salary.
