Live-out Male Housekeeper – High-End Private Residence (Knightsbridge) Location.
Knightsbridge, London Job Type.
Full-Time Salary.
£+ per annum, dependent on experience Start Date.
ASAP Position Summary.
A prestigious 4-storey private residence in Knightsbridge is seeking a Housekeeper to support the smooth day-to-day running of the home.
The successful candidate will work under the guidance of a Senior Housekeeper and must demonstrate discretion, flexibility, and a high standard of service.
Although this is a part time residence, the role is full-time, with longer working hours and increased responsibilities during those periods.
Due to cultural reasons, this role is open to male candidates only.
Key Responsibilities.
Perform daily housekeeping tasks to the highest standard, including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing Care and maintenance of luxury furnishings, delicate materials, and fine art Laundry duties including washing, ironing, steaming, and wardrobe organisation Assist with packing, unpacking, and wardrobe management for the principal Polishing silver, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting in occasional table service General upkeep of all four floors of the property, including internal staircases and communal areas Assist with receiving deliveries and liaising with external service providers Follow household protocols and always maintain security awareness Report directly to and take instruction from the Senior Male Housekeeper Be adaptable to evolving household needs, particularly during principal’s visits Candidate Requirements.
Previous experience working in a formal household or high-end hotel is essential Strong understanding of luxury housekeeping and laundry care Able to follow direction while also using initiative Highly organised, detail-oriented, and discreet Comfortable with longer working hours when needed Fluent English preferred DBS check or willingness to obtain Legally entitled to work in the UK Additional Details.
Working Schedule.
Full-time, Monday – Friday, with longer working hours when principal is in residence Property.
4-storey Knightsbridge residence with high-spec finishes Team.
Works alongside and reports to a Senior Male Housekeeper Start Date.
