£ gross per annum (DOE) plus overtime compensation Our clients are seeking a full-time, live-out Houseman to join an established household in Kensington, London, with a preferred start date of the beginning of September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, proactive, and discreet professional with a high level of housekeeping and cooking expertise, and a warm, trustworthy presence.
The ideal candidate must preferably be fluent in English and hold a UK or EU passport, as the role includes regular international travel to the US and EU for periods of 2–3 consecutive weeks.
Key Responsibilities.
Full housekeeping duties including daily cleaning, tidying, and general upkeep of the home Specialist care for high-end surfaces and materials (wood, stone, metal) Laundry and ironing to a high standard Meal preparation, primarily dinner and potentially other meals, with a focus on Mediterranean, Asian, and healthy cuisines (no allergies in the household) Dog walking and general pet care Occasional support with entertaining and events Travel with the family internationally as required Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and discretion at all times Occasionally driving the principals in the evenings, depending on their schedule Working Hours.
Monday to Friday, 8.
am–5.
pm, including a 1-hour break (can be taken as one block or two half-hour breaks) Flexibility for occasional weekend work is appreciated Holiday scheduling to be agreed on a mutual basis Requirements.
Fluent English speaker preferred Valid UK or EU passport (must be able to travel internationally) Proven experience working in HNW private households Highly organised with a proactive attitude Warm, discreet, and professional demeanour Comfortable caring for delicate household materials and finishes Flexible with occasional overtime and travel requirements
