Location.
Savigliano (Italy) Role Overview.
You will report to the Material Planning Manager and work in a collaborative environment with hundreds of colleagues across Supply Chain, Procurement and Supplier Quality.
Key Responsibilities.
As a member of the Material Planning team, you will be responsible for.
Establishing and coordinating appropriate action plans in the event of a major crisis.
Collaborating with Material Planning and Procurement for supplier selection, escalation and delivery improvements by preventing crises and enhancing supplier delivery performance.
Ensuring suppliers can meet Alstom's needs regarding technical capability and capacity vs.
workload.
Conducting audits to ensure compliance with processes and tools defined by the Central Supply Chain team, including Light and Capacity Assessment, Reporting on SharePoint and appropriated Dashboard.
Facilitating root cause analyses and implementing sustainable corrective actions (Improvement and Safeguarding Plans).
Strengthening cooperation between various functions (Purchasing, Quality, Supply Chain) to manage the least performing suppliers (TOP RED and RED).
About You.
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in supplier relationship management (in Procurement, Supply Chain or Quality).
Strong leadership, rigor, responsiveness, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Language skills.
Fluent in Italian with a good level of English (B2).
Willingness to travel (>50%).
Knowledge of an ERP system (ideally SAP).
It would be a plus if you have.
Understanding of lean manufacturing principles (e.
., 5S, ability to perform a Value Stream Map).
Proven track record in conducting supplier assessment independently.
Green Belt certification or similar.
French speaker.
