DOE Overview He is a bright little boy, always asking questions and absolutely loves science! He is very independent and likes to explore his surroundings in his own time, so you'll need to be able to give him space, but also keep close eye on him.
He is quite a picky with food, so his vegetables are often masked.
They'd eventually like you to encourage him to expand his palate.
A background in teaching would be hugely beneficial.
They are looking for someone who can foster independence and encourage good manners and politeness.
You'll be warm and encouraging, but put in gentle boundaries so that he can learn and grow.
The family travels extensively and loves to spend time outdoors, so it is important for the nanny to enjoy being outdoors too and explore the new locations they travel to.
When in Mumbai, working hours are generally 8am-8pm, 5 days a week.
They also ask for flexibility for babysitting or coming in early if travelling.
You will get two days off per week in Mumbai.
When travelling, you'll be on 24/7 duty.
In Mumbai, accommodation is a hotel room near the family home.
You will have access to breakfast and dinner there, with lunch and refreshments provided at the house.
A driver will pick you up and drop you off at the end of each day.
When travelling, you'll be provided with a bedroom, but may have to share with the child depending on location.
The family also has a 2 year old daughter, but she has her own nanny.
If her nanny is unwell, you may have to cover her and look after both children.
The same is reciprocated for you.
They have no pets, but may be getting a dog in the future.
This is a fully staffed, formal household, so you must be happy to work with the wider team.
In a dream world, they would like someone who can commit long term.
