We are looking for OFFSHORE PAINTING AND COATING ENGINEER EXPERT As Painting and Coating Engineer Expert, you will join our team of Field Joint Coating in Offshore Pipelines Technologies Department, in the Business line of Asset Based Services (no Drilling), conducting the following activities.
· Engineering activities related to painting, anticorrosive coatings and thermal insulation for pipes, structures and components, in constructions projects of offshore structures, oil and gas pipelines in all its phases.
Study of project documentation and relevant international standards Consolidation of input data Preparation of technical qualifications related to the documentation provided by the Client Selection of material, work equipment and inspection equipment Technical follow-up of the tender by interacting with suppliers Support for the procurement of materials and equipment for work Preparation of project specifications, procedures, and inspection plans suppliers’ technical evaluation and technical bids evaluation (TBE) Field activities at Construction Yards related to qualification of painting, anticorrosive coatings and thermal insulation for pipe structures and offshore components.
Technical support Coordination/supervision of people and work You will be partially dedicated to supporting or managing research and development activities for new painting technologies.
Requirements.
- Master’s degree qualified in Mechanical or Chemical or Material engineering or Industrial Chemistry.
- Knowledge of English Language B2/C1 - 3 -5 years' experience in offshore painting & coating - High proactivity and open-mindedness, strong problem-solving skills and methodical approach; Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
Multidisciplinary approach and curiosity in learning new techniques and skills.
Sede.
Milano o Fano HO (PU) (Italy) Willingness to travel worldwide for missions on Saipem's naval vessels or land-based prefabrication yards Contract Type.
