Your day at NTT DATA As a Network Engineer L2, you will act as a Technical Specialist, capable of delivering medium complex projects and solving medium complex infrastructure issues.
This project will be part of a global rollout focusing on Palo Alto technologies, in a multinational environment.
You can be part of a very competent and collaborative NTT team, contributing to an important and strategic customer’s IT journey.
Based in Milan, the NTT team will collaborate with the customer’s IT team locally and internationally, focusing on Network and Network Security infrastructure.
You will work in an IT environment mainly focused on Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, F5, VMware Velocloud, and Riverbed technologies.
Being a member of this project, you will have the opportunity to join NTT, a leader in Network Managed Services, and work with a multinational company that is a leader in the eyewear and eye care industry, continuing to evolve your competencies and skills.
You will be dedicated to project implementation and IT infrastructure support, and your main responsibilities will include.
What you'll be doing Infrastructure set-up; Physical installations and configurations; Functional testing and hands-on support to senior engineers; Projects governance Support Network Operations team for complex incidents, changes, request etc Assist in maintenance and change management activities.
IT educational background; At least 3 years of experience as Network Engineer in a medium complex environment; Cisco Certifications (CCNA/CCNP).
It is a plus to have other certifications from main vendors (Check Point/Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, Vmware); Good organizational and communication skills; Able to work in a virtual and hybrid team; Customer oriented; Good knowledge of Italian and English (French is a plus); Available to travel aboard when required by customer; Available to be part of on-duty scheduling.
