We are currently looking for a  Pastry Chef, Full-Time (40-Hours Per Week),  who is hands on and has a keen eye for detail to help us deliver the best Guest Experience! Organising and managing the pastry section to ensure smooth, efficient service.
Preparing and cooking all pastry items with precision and urgency.
Ensuring all products meet established recipes, presentation, and quality standards.
Demonstrating creativity and contributing to the development of innovative pastry recipes.
Monitoring daily pastry kitchen requirements and advising the Executive Sous Chef or supervisor in advance.
Maintaining strict food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards across all work areas and equipment.
Catering for conferences and events, including the preparation of items that meet a wide range of dietary requirements.
Ensuring proper storage and handling of all ingredients in line with current food safety regulations.
Supporting and coordinating with the broader kitchen team to meet service demands.
Assisting senior kitchen leadership and stepping into supervisory duties when required.
Promoting flexibility and collaboration by being familiar with other kitchen sections.
Qualifications The Person.
Minimum two (2) years commercial cookery and pastry experience in a similar role, preferably including 5 star experience.
Holds a Level 5 Diploma in Professional Cookery.
Has the aptitude and willingness to undertake further development with SO/ and Ennismore.
Physically fit and able to stand for the duration of a shift (8 hours).
Organise time and work efficiently.
Willingness to work weekends and public holidays due to the business needs Projects professional image at all times through personal presentation / interpersonal skills.
Effective numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.
Desire and ability to train and develop staff.
Appreciates and maintains an effective outlet for stress.
Initiates contacts and establishes rapport easily.
