The Role As we continue to grow and evolve, we are focused on creating seamless digital experiences that drive performance and make it easier for customers to understand, shop, and optimize their sleep.
We are now looking for a contract Product Designer with deep UX experience and a passion for A/B testing, experimentation, and data-informed iteration.
The ideal candidate will help optimize our web experience through thoughtful design solutions that improve usability, clarity, and conversion.
What You’ll Build We are a mission-driven company, so passion for what we do and our mission is key.
At a high level, the role encompasses three areas.
Collaborate closely with growth, engineering, and the broader product team to improve the Eight Sleep website experience Take ownership of user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs aimed at performance optimization Contribute directly to experimentation strategy through the design and validation of A/B tests Use insights from analytics, session data, and user research to guide design decisions Work within and contribute to our web design system, ensuring consistent and scalable UI patterns Translate design work into clean, organized Figma files ready for developer handoff Communicate design decisions clearly with stakeholders and provide rationale based on data and user needs   What You’ll Need to Succeed 4+ years of experience in UX and UI design for web and e-commerce A portfolio that showcases user-centered, conversion-oriented design work Expertise in Figma, including design systems, components, and prototyping Proven experience designing for A/B testing and measuring results Clear understanding of web performance, accessibility, and responsive design principles Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints Comfortable working independently and managing priorities with limited oversight Strong collaboration skills and the ability to communicate clearly with engineers, marketers, and product leads Enthusiasm for health, wellness, and improving the way people sleep Bonus points for.
Working knowledge of HTML/CSS or understanding how web components are built Experience with motion or interaction design Previous experience optimizing high-growth e-commerce websites Familiarity with web analytics tools such as GA4, Hotjar, or Amplitude At Eight Sleep we continually celebrate the diverse community different individuals cultivate.
