Job Description Role Overview.
As a Runner at Delano Dubai’s Pool & Beach area, you will be an essential part of our hospitality team, ensuring smooth and efficient service in an outdoor, relaxed environment.
Your attention to detail, quick response, and teamwork will guarantee that food and beverages are delivered promptly and accurately, helping to create a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities.
Service Support.
Assist waitstaff by delivering food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to guests around the pool and beach areas promptly and courteously.
Order Accuracy.
Ensure all items are delivered correctly, maintaining high standards of presentation even in the outdoor setting.
Communication.
Maintain effective communication with kitchen, bar, and service teams to coordinate smooth service flow in the dynamic pool and beach environment.
Ambiance & Cleanliness.
Help keep the pool and beach dining areas clean and organized by promptly clearing tables, disposing of waste properly, and resetting spaces for new guests.
Teamwork.
Collaborate closely with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to support smooth operations during daily service and special pool/beach events.
Guest Assistance.
Be attentive to guest needs, quickly responding to requests and assisting wherever needed to enhance their relaxation and enjoyment.
Qualifications Luxury Experience.
You have a proven track record in a luxury hospitality environment - luxury hotel, high-end restaurant, or exclusive beach club, showcasing your ability to deliver sophisticated and discreet service that exceeds guest expectations.
Exceptional Skills.
Your communication and interpersonal skills are exemplary, allowing you to engage with guests in a refined manner that enhances their experience.
Operational Knowledge.
You’re proficient in luxury hotel operations and management software, with a solid understanding of sophisticated service protocols that ensure smooth operations.
Educational Background.
A relevant educational qualification, such as a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience, is preferred, aligning with our commitment to excellence.
