We are looking for a Senior Field Service Technician – Medium Voltage Switchgear and Breakers, to be hired with a permanent contract in Milan within the Electrification and Automation – Customer Service area.

Your Challenge As a Senior Field Service Technician – Medium Voltage Switchgear and Breakers, you will be responsible for performing maintenance activities on medium- and low-voltage switchgear, including vacuum circuit breakers (VCB), GIS, and AIS technologies.
You will conduct electrical and mechanical testing and ensure that all activities are carried out according to time schedules and quality standards.
You will also coordinate on-site operations and act as a key point of contact during field interventions.
Your main activities will be.
Perform maintenance on medium- and low-voltage circuit breakers, including vacuum circuit breakers (VCB), GIS (Gas-Insulated Switchgear), and AIS (Air-Insulated Switchgear) technologies Conduct electrical and mechanical testing on switchgear and related components Coordinate field activities, including the supervision of on-site personnel and subcontractors when required Ensure all work is carried out according to the project schedule, technical specifications, and quality standards Identify and report any deviations or non-conformities, contributing to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction Collaborate with engineering and planning teams to prepare interventions and support troubleshooting To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have.
More than 6 years of proven experience in executing maintenance activities on medium- and low-voltage systems (including VCB, GIS, AIS technologies) A solid track record in managing complex maintenance worksites, including planning, coordination, and safety compliance A strong willingness and flexibility to travel extensively, often at short notice, to support customer operations across various locations The ability to work independently on technical tasks, combined with a proactive and problem-solving mindset Good communication and organizational skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and internal teams Passion to never-stop growing Respect and appreciation of each person’s uniqueness, willingness to co create and   share knowledge Proficiency in English and Italian Eligibility to work in Italy What we offer ·         Welfare.
