Azienda Our Client is a leading multinational company operating in the energy sector.
Offerta Financial Strategy & Planning.
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the subsidiary's and parent company's long-term objectives.
Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and investment planning for the organization as well as for renewable energy projects.
Support strategic decision-making by providing financial insights on energy market trends, subsidies, and regulatory developments in Italy and the EU.
Financial Management & Reporting.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with Italian GAAP (OIC), IFRS, and local tax regulations.
Manage organization cash flow and working capital (Payables, receivables, Payroll, tax, etc.).
Project financing to support business growth.
Ensure financial statements and reports align with both local regulatory requirements and corporate consolidation needs.
Leadership & Team Management.
Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team (2 People), ensuring strong financial governance and accountability.
Team will grow depending on group grown.
Act as a strategic partner to the CEO/MD and other department heads (e.
., Operations, Business Development, Legal).
Communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities to the Board of Directors and international parent company.
Managing the External Auditor relationship ensuring the organization is compliant with accounting standards Risk Management, Compliance & Regulatory Affairs.
Ensure compliance with Italian and EU financial regulations, including renewable energy incentives, carbon credit schemes, and tax laws.
Implement robust internal controls and risk management frameworks.
Liaise with regulatory authorities, banks, auditors, and external advisors to ensure compliance and financial efficiency.
Business Growth & Investment Support.
Assess the financial viability of new renewable energy projects, mergers, and acquisitions.
Manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, and funding bodies for project financing.
Support the transition to sustainable financial models, including green bonds, ESG financing, and PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) structures.
Competenze ed esperienza Education.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
MBA or Master's in Energy Finance is a plus.
Certifications.
CPA, CFA, or similar financial certification preferred.
Experience.
10+ years of significant experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in the energy/renewables sector.
Strong understanding of renewable energy project financing and corporate financial management.
Experience working within an international corporate structure.
Technical Skills.
Deep knowledge of IFRS, Italian GAAP (OIC), and tax regulations.
Experience with financial modelling, project financing, and M&A in the energy sector.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.
.
MS Dynamics 365) and financial reporting tools.
