SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

As a System Admin, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our servers, storage and vitalisation infrastructure.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of our systems.
Responsibilities.
Manage and maintain vitalisation environments using Proxmox.
Deploy, configure, and monitor storage solutions with Dell, Seagate and Synology.
Implement and manage monitoring solutions with Zabbix to ensure system health and performance.
Ensure endpoint security and protection using CrowdStrike.
Centralise and manage logs with Centralised Logging Tools for effective system auditing and troubleshooting.
Support and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments, ensuring they are secure, up-to-date, and optimised.
Perform routine system audits, backups, and recovery processes.
Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement best practices for system administration.
Respond to system outages and provide timely support to resolve issues.
Manage Backup and Restore Activities with Veeam or similar.
Requirements.
Solid experience with Windows Server and Linux system administration.
Experience with Proxmox, and/or VMWare ESx, VSphere etc Competence in managing centralised log systems like Graylog, SumoLogic, etc… Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent English communication skills Relevant certifications (e.
., Microsoft, Linux, etc…) are a plus.
