Base calibration engineer

Development and calibrate internal combustion  engines powered by alternative Fuels (GPL & CNG) for passenger cars applications.  
Main responsibilities are: 
 
 Plan and coordinate the activities of the technicians and of the test cells for GASOLINE engines applications. 
 Failure analysis of the engine mechanical components. 
 Calibrate and optimize the GPL and CNG engines performances minimizing the fuel consumptions with analysis of Knock phenomenon.   Data analysis, reports, and presentations for suppliers and clients. 
 Post processing of the emissions cycles performed on the roller bench for the assessment and control of polluting emissions, searching to minimize the CO2 emissions. 
 Technical meeting with the supervisor and weekly update with the colleagues of Pomigliano (NA) discussing about the goals and the progress of the activity. 

I was a contractor of Adecco – Euro engineering (Turin). 
Development and calibrate internal combustion Diesel engines for on-road applications.  
Main responsibilities are: 
 
 Plan and coordinate the activities of the technicians and of the test cells for DIESEL engines application. 
 Failure analysis of the engine mechanical components. 
 DoE approach in order to calibrate and optimize the engine performances minimizing the fuel consumptions.  
 Data analysis, reports, and presentations for clients (OPEL) and internal meeting. 
 Post processing of the emissions cycles performed on the roller bench for the assessment and control of polluting emissions 
 Technical meeting with the EGM Engineer and weekly update with the head of the project discussing about the goals and the progress of 
    the activity. 

Staging and Testing of internal combustion engines installed on the test bench. 
Activities of experimental research on an engine Dual Fuel Diesel – CNG.  
Assessment and control of polluting emissions Equipment of test cell; 
Development of data acquisition system (thermo-fluid dynamic and emissions) by means LabVIEW. 
Experimental investigation  on the Knock phenomenon in SI engine, powered GPL.
