Call center inbound / customer care - part time

Currently handling Fiber project for TIM and Fastweb. Fiber projects need a totally different approach. As Project Manager coming from software integration and roll-out projects, I had to re-invent my role, facing a different environment, different job-roles, and also all the matters regarding construction field. It could be seen as a tough change since the ‘traditional environment’ could be considered a little bit more ‘static’, but at the end of the day I think it’s very challenging and more dynamic. 

That was my first experience as consultant, based in customer premises (Open Fiber). The activity I was asked to perform didn’t match my professional competences but it was really interesting. Having the chance to work in a young and growing-up organization gave me the opportunity to use my skills and analyze also the real issues which a new company faces. 

Mobile Back Hauling project for Wind.  

Radio Access projects for Wind (Italian Operator), following the new radio network nodes, from the customer order to the verification of the standalone nodes. 
I’m also partially involved during test and integration, supporting customer when it’s needed.  
Last but not least I’ve had handled roll-out project regarding a new software release.

I was appointed as Configuration Manager on Poste Mobile MVNO project, handling a big amount of data, working with more than 160 resources and I was the only reference point who was taking care of the amount of items delivered during the project. 
The main challenge was to teach people the importance of my role, and expecting them to follow my directives.
At the end of the day I was able to keep more than 500 items on track and make sure everything was under control.

I was requested back to UAE to join one of the most important program for the local organization, commissioned by the main local telecom governmental company, Etisalat. 
I was responsible to make sure that all the streams involved in the program itself (which included projects and sub-projects) were aligned to our delivery process. 
Working in a dynamic environment and with several consultant companies, external to Ericsson organization, the main challenge was to find a common way of working and share information, data, and deliverables, in order to reach the project success.
The main goal reached during the project was making people understand the importance of having the same approach although different way of working, backgrounds and cultures. Due to some accessibilities limitation we had to put in place a customized process in order to share information and also a common approach towards the customer. 

I was called to recover the Configuration Management system in a Charging System project, since the one in place was not working. 
I joined the project during validation test and the main goal reached during the project was being able to start everything from scratch and re-design the Configuration Management  process, since the project was already in execution phase. 
Even if the team did not know me and was not familiar with Configuration Management, I was able to build trust and empathy with all the team members, going back to a stability in terms of deliverables.

I was called to build a Configuration Management system for all the projects running in Ericsson UAE, making a training to several selected resourced around Middle East countries. The goal was not only to have a Configuration Management team in place, but also for the local organization to pass an assessment.
The assessment was finally passed and a good Configuration Management system was started up.
Personally I had the chance to work in a totally different ‘melting pot ‘ environment. Working abroad gives the chance to see things from a different perspective, different attitudes, cultures and a different point of view make an individual more complete.
