Controller

	Responsible for direct supervision of all controlling activities, managing a team of 4 controllers.
	Provide inputs to the shareholders in the fulfilment of Group financial targets (Turnover, GM, EBIT, NFP).
	Analysis of individual Business Units performance, highlighting and commenting any deviation from plans.
	Actively participation to strategic acquisitions and alliances (developed M&A, JV, due diligence support team) and integration activities. 
	Definition of policies and procedures on product costing and implementation of KPIs to evaluate Group performances (Standard costing, 
        production efficiency, warehouses analysis, variances analysis, mix).
	Coordination of the result analysis of all the worldwide Subsidiaries.
	Reporting package and profitability analysis.
	Coordinate, assess, develop and maintain reports for business management (Business Plan, Budget and Forecast).
	Perform ad hoc analysis for management support.

	Responsible for direct supervision of all accounting and financial functions.
	Supervision of the monthly close process, monthly, quarterly and annual billings to clients for services provided, billing reimbursements from clients, collection of accounts receivable, supervising accounts payable, payroll.
	Monthly reporting for the owner, monthly preparation of a reforecast.
	Annual preparation of the yearly budget. 
	Creation and implementation of policies and procedures to identify, resolve and document accounting issues; creation of procedures to make the close and reporting processes more efficient and accurate.
	Responsible for ensuring compliance with group policies (J-Sox), all applicable laws, rules and regulations.
	Proper analytical review of the asset operations from a Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow perspective as well as an overall business perspective.
	Implementation of best practices and continuous improvement programs for the integration of Zanotti Spa in the Daikin Group.
	Project (Industrial) Controlling, acting as a consultant to the project management teams.
	Development of strong relationships with colleagues on the Corporate development team, business leaders in the international organization, and functional leaders throughout the company, acting as a Business partner to support the whole organization.

	Responsible for the financial planning, forecasting, measurement, analysis and reporting of cost, inventories and investments for the entire operations within EMEA.
	Responsible for monthly & annual forecast and annual budgeting for EMEA Operations.  
	In charge of the constant review and analysis of financial results of EMEA Operations.
	Responsible for the implementation, monitoring and development of all internal financial controls.
	Gathering cross-functional information from marketing through manufacturing (price, volume, capacity, leverage, productivity, headcount, etc.), evaluating probabilities, opportunities and risks and preparing several scenarios.
	Ensuring visibility of key data.
	Implementation of benchmarks, measurements and systems to become Centre of Excellence.
	Evaluating the financial impact of business decisions.
	Supervision of +/- 5 people.

	Preparation of the balance sheet, profit and loss, monthly closing, statutory accounting according to Italian accounting standards.
	Accurate reporting to the European Headquarter (according to UK GAAP principles).
	Management of cash and treasury functions – preparation of Cash Flow and working capital reporting and management.
	Management and coordination of all the accounting process, ensuring effective financial controls are in place.
	Development and implementation of effective cash management systems and controls in addition to invoicing, credit (DSO, Aging) and payment processes.
	Participation actively in the strategic planning for the local company. 

	Consolidate Information / Reports gathering from the subsidiaries of the Emerging Markets Region (Middle East, Africa, Turkey).
	Manage the day-to-day accounting and month-end reporting according to corporate standards.
	Reconciliation of the local P&L and BS with the US GAAP principles.   
	Provide financial planning & analysis support for the European Headquarter based in London (financial analysis for business/function and strategic plans, budget and forecast processes).
	Provide guidance to financial information systems group in terms of monthly financial submissions, maintenance of financial databases, reporting structure and system infrastructure user requirements.
	Monitor and report on areas of operational risks and/or opportunities.
	Prepare and validate the SOX documents for Auditors requirements.

	Responsible for the control of the company’s cost accounting and budgetary control system: preparation of periodic management accounts, budgets and forecasts of two monthly magazines (Focus and Jack) and their correlated brand extensions (Focus Storia, Focus Domande e Risposte, Focus Giochi and Focus Extra) including analysis of all variances and preparation of financial information for planning, controlling and forecasting costs.
	Monthly analysis, reporting and presentation of actual vs. forecasted business results.
	Investigation and explanation of all variances, detection and correction of potential and/or actual breaks and/or errors in the monthly allocation process.
	Review and validation of the correct P&L production and attribution, creation of a monthly magazine P&L.
	Support and assist business development projects (launch of new titles), perform ad hoc financial analysis (to evaluate new commercial offers such as banded sales, cut price promotions, gadgets, merchandising). 
	Participation in the implementation of the ERP SAP R3 FI/CO.
