Responsible of Design, Development, Integration and Verification &  Validation activities for surveillance radar products cooperating and non, of communications equipment and network infrastructures for the provisions of secure and safe road and rail transportation systems, of command and control of air traffic systems, of territorial waters and borders surveillance, of protection and security of events and of critical infrastructures which are part of the S&IS Division’s business of Leonardo Spa (formerly Finmeccanica).
Accomplishing this role, I support all Marketing and Sales activities both at Divisional and single Business Line level, guaranteeing the correct interpretation of the tender requirements and validating the technical solutions proposed with respect to the needs of final Customers with whom I enjoy credibility and estimate, proof of my experience and professionalism.
In the business of Air Traffic Management, I have relationships with the Italian, Turkey, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Macedonia, Cyprus, Malta, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Vietnam, Canada, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia, Senegal, Morocco and Kenya Civil Aviation’s and Services providers as well as with the relevant regulatory authorities such as Eurocontrol, Sesar JU and ICAO.
In the business of Border Control, Maritime Awareness and Sea Safeguard, I extend my contacts with the authorities Coastal Surveillance and Italy Border Guard, Turkey, Poland and with IALA that is the international reference organization.
Finally my network includes contacts in the Ministry of Interior and Defense and their reference bodies for Italy, Qatar, Argentina, Malesia, Turkey, Bulgaria and Saudi Arabia.
When contracts with external costumers are established, after all Marketing and Sales activities, I exercise a constant control of planning, development, and qualification processes and the related progress of costs and maintenance of project margins always taking care of the Customer satisfaction.
I am a promoter of technological and process innovation with a particular attention to the initiatives that strengthen or introduce new products in the Division's portfolio and that represent at the same time significant ROIs in terms of productivity and operational efficiency of its structure and in general of the optimization of the Division's receivable and payable accounts.

I was responsible for the Project Management, System Engineering and commissioning of all products in the Communication area, Surveillance and Navigation, Route Control Centers, Approach and Tower for Air Traffic Control. The direct assigned budget cost was about 15M€ across all products; the impact on the Business Unit total turnover (300M€) is about 75%.

In charge of managing  all software production phases, including design, development, verification up to component, cluster and system integration and verification for all recognized capabilities such as Sensors and Communication Data processing, Data Interface Handlers, Human Machine Interface, Mission Planning and Control, Supervision and Basic & Middle Layer Application. The managed budget cost is around 100 M € and is spread over all Business Divisions while the impact on revenues involves 50% of the total (3,500 M€).  
In this role, I have supported all the Company's Marketing and Sales activities guaranteeing the correct interpretation of the tender requirements and validating the technical solutions proposed with respect to the needs and requirements of internal (eg Augusta Westland) and external (e.g. Piaggio, Eurofighter Consortium, Boeing, Airbus) costumers of Finmeccanica Group.

I was in charge of managing all software production phases, including design, development, component and product verification, cluster and system validation in the fields of Naval Combat Management Systems, Homeland Defence Systems, Strategical Planning Defence systems, Air Traffic Control and Vessel Traffic Management. My Unit was in charge of any software production and came directly under the authority of the Head of Engineering Unit of SELEX Sistemi Integrati. I was member of the Management Committee at SESM scarl, a company managing advanced research and partnership with Universities. In this role, I supported the Company’s Marketing and Sales activities guaranteeing the correct interpretation of the tender requirements and validating the technical solutions proposed with respect to the costumers needs. Some of the Costumer I worked with were the Civil Protection, ENAV (National Air Traffic Services) , the General Command of the Port Authorities and the Ministry of Defense (for activities related to products of the Navy, the Italian Army and the Air Force).

I was the Head of Systems Engineering of Selex S.I. Civil Business Unit. I coordinated both the product design and validation of business projects and all technical proposals and “system into operation” phases in the area of CNS/ATM domain (Communication, Navigation, Surveillance and Air Traffic Management) and VTS domain (Vessel Traffic Management). I supervised projects’ costs and milestones as defined by the product strategy of Finmeccanica Group. I was part of SICTA Management Committee member, a consortium constituted by ENAV (Italian Service Provider for the Air Traffic Control) and Selex Sistemi Integrati.
