ROLE DESCRIPTION
*	Managed the start-up and driving the company with responsibilities over all aspects including technical, legal, public relations and marketing, commercial, finance and strategy.
*	Personally involved in the business development activities and acquisition of customers in both the military and civil fields, defining the corporate strategy and commercial approaches.
*	Acquired detailed competence over advanced cyber protection solutions, including endpoint and network related protection.

*	Created new opportunities and proposals aiming to increase profitability and extend the company’s footprint.
*	Increased business volumes, developed organizational strategies and optimized operational efficiency. 
*	Developed and implemented corporate strategies to improve  company profitability.
*	Coached and Coordinated a proactive, client-focused and result-oriented sales team in order to achieve rapid business growth.

*	Achieved the awarding of a contract for the digital transformation of the Interconnections of Saudi Telecom New Generation Network core infrastructure with the International Gateways, the Fixed Intelligent Network and the 3G Mobile Network.
*	Directed a detailed Cyber Security Assessment and Remediation Plan for the incumbent Internet and Multimedia Service Provides in the Middle East.

*	Coordinated the Program Managers assigned to the Northern Europe region, including VODAFONE UK (formerly CABLE & WIRELESS), BELGACOM, SCARLET  and BBNED.
*	Assured that all the assigned projects and activities were progressed and delivered according to plans and budgets.
*	Monitored the achievement of the forecasted budgets, by arranging periodic status reviews.
*	Verified the application of the relevant quality standards to the services and product delivery processes.
*	Performed the yearly performance evaluation of the Program Managers.
*	Managed the Implementation and Acceptance activities for the ORANGE BUSINESS SERVICES (France Telecom Group) Point of Presence in Canary Warf, London.
*	Consolidated the relationship with the managed customers, anticipating their needs and creating new business opportunities.
*	Strengthened the business relationship with VODAFONE, and achieved the awarding of  the contract for the design and implementation of the UK National Backbone VTE (Voice Transit Evolution).
*	Liaised with VODAFONE UK management as resident consultant with responsibility over budgeting, planning, execution, monitoring and control of all technical activities, from design and software developments to sales, installations, acceptance testing and technical support.
*	Contributed to the Organizational and Processes Optimization, continuously improving the corporate procedures and methodologies.
*	Coordinated the multifunctional teams dedicated to the customer and liaised with the external partners involved in the projects, managing and controlling scopes, schedules, costs and risks associated and ensuring the conformance with the relevant quality standards.
*	Acted as consultant in business development activities and in active projects, for several major IT and Telecom carriers in Europe.
*	Acquired a new contract for the design, planning and implementation of the Global Voice Interconnect Network, which allows VODAFONE to interconnect their IP Infrastructure to virtual providers such as Microsoft Skype and similar.
*	Achieved the awarding of a contract for the design and implementation of a white-labeled infrastructure allowing VODAFONE to provide wholesale services through IP peering, to other virtual Data and Voice service providers in UK.

*	Managed the team dedicated to the integration of the Italtel Voice over IP products suite over a CISCO Network infrastructure and CISCO Media Gateways.
*	Liaised as resident consultant with VODAFONE, United Kingdom, interacting with the managers of the technical departments, providing pre-sales activities support, feasibility analysis and architectural solutions.
*	Cooperated with VODAFONE UK Voice over IP Network Planning and Operations Management.
*	Acquired extensive knowledge of Carrier Grade IP Infrastructure Networks and increased the experience over Voice over IP Infrastructures and Network Protocols.
*	Designed the architectures of solutions for the Russian and Bulgarian Markets.
*	Directed the certification of the Italtel NGN solutions, carried out by the Central Research Institute of Telecommunications (ZNIIS,  R&D division of the Ministry of the Telecommunications of the Russian Federation).
*	Managed the technical assessment, solution design, the acceptance tests, network planning  and the roll-out in Rome and Milan of the NGN solution acquired by British Telecom in Italy, including the interconnections with their 16 switching centers across the country. 
*	Acquired extensive hands-on experience with network devices and IT platforms produced by several major technology manufacturers.
*	Responsible for the deployment and for the customer acceptance testing of all the software releases developed for Telecom Italia Sparkle (International Division of Telecom Italia).
*	Managed the Level 3 Service Support team liaising with the R&D and with external third parties, for the troubleshooting and resolution of Hardware and Software technical issues raised by the customer, under strict Service Level Agreements.
*	Supervised the design and installation of large datacenters, hosting countrywide multimedia infrastructures.

*	Appointed member of the team selected for the realization of the Italian Intelligent Network, in cooperation with NOKIA (formerly AT&T) Bell Labs.
*	Contributed as resident engineer and consultant to the software development, solution testing and integration phases of the Service Switching Point produced by Italtel with the AT&T Network Elements.
*	Responsible for the Service Switching Point acceptance test team at the General Directorate of Telecom Italia, Rome during the Customer Acceptance Tests of the Intelligent Network.
*	Supported the Installation teams dedicated to the deployment of the new system.

*	Responsible for the Features Design, Software Developments, Testing and deployment activities, for Telecom Italia Sparkle.
*	Developed and successfully deployed Operation and Maintenance as well as Signaling application features improving the Network Management and the Interoperability with the international networks.
