From September 2000 to present
Working in the area of network management and OSS systems. I have been involved in the design, deployment (C++, HTML, JavaSscrip, Shell Script) and testing of  a platform for SNMP monitoring, reporting, service level agreement for IP networks, implemented in TIM and other corporates. Leading the team in charge of deploying the software.
2004: working in the deployment team of a software for mobile network planning. Achievements: mobile radio topics.
2005: working on IVR (Interactive Voice Responder), Intelligent Network-Call Centre technologies and services for TIM numbers 4915, 4916, 119, etc… Translating marketing requirements into functional specifications.
Since 2006 Network Engineer at core packet network in the technology department. I have been involved in the scouting and rollout of Value Added Services for large scale infrastructures: MMS, Advertising Gateway, Wap Gateway, Parental Control, Content Reformatting Proxy; FW-NAT traversal and peer to peer problems for mobile phones, layer 2-layer7 routing issues. Video-Web-TCP Optimization Proxy Server (improving bandwidth allocation and web performance for  customers): http/1x and http/2 knowledge. 
Producing request for information, request for quotation, request for proposal. 
Producing network architectures (Visio drawing experience), IP network design with network load balancers: F5 theorically, Citrix NetScaler basic commands; command knowledge of Radware Alteon Load Balancer. 
NAT-Firewall experience: Cisco ASA, Juniper MX and SRX series; 
Cisco PE router 76xx, Cisco ASR 9000 PE Series Router.
Switch Cisco Catalyst 3750E, Cisco Nexus 5624Q. Linux commands knowledge.
Management of Technical Assistance  Cases with Vendors, working in close relation with Operation. Take ownership of high priority or escalated faults from Operation colleagues.
I liaise with Testing department for building a testing network similar to field network, validating connectivity of hardware and services before dispatching to site; or Marketing, to discuss current issues. Define POC and new business model with Vendors.

Recent activities
Starting from 2017 I am working for migrating company’s Internet Pipe from physical architecture to Virtual chain according to ETSI-MANO architectural framework. Moving a Citrix ADC, used for TCP Optimization, L3-L7 routing, DNS manipulation and load balancing in TIM’s internet pipe, an Ericsson’s Packet Gateway from physical appliance to a virtualized solution, on top of NFV private cloud (with Red Hat Open Stack, KVM, Juniper IP Fabric). Working with Juniper and Cisco for creating a SDN and logging infrastructure for TIM’s customers with Cisco NSO: the goal is network automation, orchestration of NAT configuration.
