Starting from May 2019 I was moved to the MICE department of the Company BCD Travel Italy where I tooked care of the organization of meetings, conferences, conventions, training and outdoor for our corporate customers (large companies from different sectors), within the MICE department.
This specific department is specializes in organizing large events involving huge groups of people; we take care of the organization at 360 degrees: starting from the sourcing of the locations and venues (where required), request and formulation of estimates (through our MICE management system), constant relationship with suppliers and customers to foresee all the steps and details organization and finally the closing of the event and its final balance.
We take care in particular of the booking and logistic of various services: from hotels to transfers, catering, etc ...
Tools used: for budgets and rooming lists excel. For job orders, quotes and final accounts the MICE and Atlante Plus management software.
E-mail system: IBM Notes.
Skills developed: negotiation with suppliers, precision and attention to detail, planning and organization, prioritization, emergency management and time management.

From March I moved to the international team like Ancillary Meeting Coordinator for the Pharma division, Global Team composed by italian, english, dutch and american members that works on the Pharma Global Client Merck Sharpe & Dohme (Merck/MSD). I am in charge of supporting the Ancillary Meeting Managers with the successful execution of Ancillary Meetings associated with congresses. The Meeting Coordinator develops and executes components related to the planning and implementation of efficient, cost effective, and well-planned client meetings and events. Executes and directs activities for the program registration process to ensure accuracy. Acts as a resource for clients, service providers and other staff with regard to guidelines, procedures, and processes.

Within the marketing team I have a particular focus on organizing events for customers of our 3 business lines: BCD Travel, BCD Meetings & Events and Travelgood. I take care of all aspects of the events that I organize: from the birth of the event through scouting of locations and suppliers, to its on-site implementation up to the whole post-event process (from payments to suppliers to ad hoc communication on corporate social channels and towards customers and sponsors). I deal with external suppliers, with our partners (air, rail, car rental and hotel chains) sponsors who collaborate in our events and with the customers of the various business lines participating in the event.
Tools used: for email marketing, dem, sending invitations and registration forms: Mail Up and Google Drive. Pre and post event communication: for posts Social Network, for articles corporate blogs via Wordpress.

I took 3 different post graduate courses
1) Palestra delle professioni Digitali: Intensive 5-week training course geared towards Digital Marketing, it is a project promoted by the Prospera Association in collaboration with Accenture Italia, the Accenture Italian Foundation, Sportello Stage-ACTL, Assolombarda, Trenkwalder, Federturismo, Italy-Expo 2015 Pavilion and Samsung.
2) Events Management: During the Event Organization course, all topics related to the organization, management and success of different types of events were addressed, both through lectures and practical projects, with a particular focus on the communication plan.
3) Web Designer: In the course of Web Design: Illustrator, Photoshop, HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, Wordpress and Web Marketing.
