Mechanical design and simulation engineer

• Perform static, dynamic (vibrational/Modal) and fatigue studies for machinery parts. With the support of more experienced engineers, conduct non-routine calculations, including the use of FEA. 
• Continuously optimize design to meet updated standards, lower costs, and incorporate new products, components and functionalities. • Prepare design calculations using standard and non-standard calculation tools 
• Development of the design including new product developments and special projects, working closely with the team of technical department and other departments (Production, Marketing, Sales).
• Pneumatic circuit studies for automatic machines actuation. • Cooperate with the Experimental Department in the design and execution of prototypes and test, to validate the product.
• Transmission system studies.
• BOM management.
Software’s/tools used:
• Vault PDM Solidworks
• Solidworks (3D modelling, Surfaces, sheet metal, weldments and 2D Drawings).
• Ansys + Solidworks (Static analysis, Modal analysis, Vibrational analysis, Fatigue studies, Thermal analysis and Topology optimization). • Draftsight (2D drawings/layout for Pneumatic and Hydraulic schemes). 
• NanoCAD (2D drawings/layout for Pneumatic and Hydraulic schemes).
