Power electronics development for ADAS systems.

Technical support to the Vicor's customers to improve the applications of the Vicor's components
  within their specific applications. Development of custom power chains from the AC/DC and DC/DC
  large portfolio of Vicor’s components.

Development of analogue and power electronics system for automotive applications;
Design of high power DC/DC and DC/AC converters for automotive power train.
Planning and supervision of qualification tests.	

Development of high voltage power supplies for industrial x-ray systems from ± 50kV till ± 350kV with a large range of output powers from bespoke customer requirements to modifications and updates of existing product range. I was engaged in the development and use of new technologies in the field of high voltage and dielectric insulation.

Development of high voltage power supplies for industrial x-ray and e-beam systems from ± 50kV till ± 350kV with a maximum output power of 4.5kW.Design and development of the control and power electronic circuits for X-ray and e-beam generators.I gave support to the production for trouble shooting and repairs. I have prepared the technical specifications for the development of new products. 
I cared for the feasibility study and the system study of new x-ray generators. I haveplanned electronic and electrical works. I have worked in order to guarantee the respect of Quality System ISO 9001/2000, ISO 13485/1966 (EN46001) and of  CE and UL norms. 

At the head of a 5 people team I was in charge of the development of high voltage generators for industrial x-raysystems from ±50kV till ±350kV with a maximum output power of 4.5kW. Working sidebysidewiththepowerelectronicsandcontrolteams.Supporttothe production for trouble shooting andrepairs.

Responsible of the development of the new x-ray products. Development and production of new ACDC and DCDC power supplies, X-ray generators and monoblocks for medical and industrial applications.
I took care of the drawing up to the technical detailed lists, the studies of feasibility and system, the planning  of electronic and electrical works, and of the demanded documentation in order to guarantee the respect of Quality System and of norms CE and UL.

My tasks were those to design new x-ray mono-blocks and power supplies for medical and industrial applications and the related ACDC and DCDC power supplies. I managed a work team formed by seven between engineers and technicians engaged in the design of x-ray systems with powers from 250W till 20kW and voltage till 160kV. Beyond to the planning and its supervision I took care of the realization of the technical documentation from the drawing up of the technical detailed lists until the all documentation of plans necessary in order to obtain certifications CE and UL and the conformity to the several regulations in whose respect the x-ray products are made.

Responsible of a working group in charge for the development of theelectroniccircuits for supervision and control of power SCR and IGBT to be employed  in ACAC and ACDC converters used for motor drivers and power converters for grid's control till 200 kV like STATICVAR and HVDC and for the furnaces in DC till 70 kA. Involved in the development of liquid and air cooling systems for high power SCR and IGBT.I took part in the commissioning of HVDC and STATICVAR systems in Italy and abroad.Applications of robots in the systems for automatic welding.

Designer  of PWM  switching power supplies with switching frequencies as high as 100 kHz using power MOSFET. My task consisted in the planning and realization of prototype power supplies to be used inside military radar systems.
