Il MeGMI, Master Executive in Gestione degli Asset Industriali e della Manutenzione, è una iniziativa promossa congiuntamente dal MIP Politecnico di Milano e dalla School of Management dell'Università degli Studi di Bergamo. Il Master Executive in Gestione degli Asset Idustriali e della Manutenzione è al 2° posto nel TOP 2018 EDUNIVERSAL BEST MASTERS RANKING - Industrial and Operations Management in Western Europe. Formare manager di manutenzione, manager di servizi tecnici e manager di asset industriali che, oltre a possedere adeguate competenze tecniche, siano in grado di gestire i processi di manutenzione e il ciclo di vita degli asset industriali in termini organizzativi e gestionali, governando l’impatto che la manutenzione e la gestione degli asset hanno sul resto dell’organizzazione, sui suoi obiettivi di business e sui conseguenti processi di miglioramento continuo. Il Master prevede un forte coinvolgimento di importanti aziende industriali e dei servizi a garanzia della totale aderenza tra il Corso e le reali esigenze delle aziende, sia in termini di contenuti, che di modalità didattiche. Numerose aziende collaborano con docenze e testimonianze dirette, fondate sul know-how aziendale. I am an Italian mechanical engineer who has been working in South America by 5 years. Since my MSc thesis work, I focused on the maintenance-engineering topic, and, after graduating at “Politecnico di Milano”, I worked for six month in ABB Italy, maintenance global service section, as a temporary worker. After this, I had the opportunity to move to Chile for working for CGS-SA, a leading company that developed an innovative maintenance engineering software that is very useful for improving industrial facilities, both at operation and design stages. Holding the position of Senior Project Engineer, I have been responsible for engineering, management, development and control of projects focused on reaching operational reliability in asset intensive plants. I have participated in several projects, working with mining and energy companies, such as ANTOFAGASTA MINERALS, CODELCO, BHP BILLINTON, CHINALCO, TRANSELEC and ENEX. Here, I was responsible of modeling their mining equipment, through the reliability engineering software tool, in view of maintenance operations improvement. More recently, based on my improved competence, I was been promoted as head of development for the company software platform. My actual work and position is satisfactory, however, being the company small, I think to have limited possibilities of further growth. This is the reason why I started browsing the internet to find some positions whose requirements correspond to my competence. I think that it could be great to be part of a Company, where I might grow my career, by developing ambitious projects in collaboration with the best talents in the sector, having the right reward for hard work and commitment. About my formation & specific skills: I received my master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the "Politecnico di Milano", Milan, Italy, in 2012. I am an expert in everything about RAM modeling and simulation of production processes. I am able to estimate the levels of reliability and maintainability of a plant from a systemic point of view, determining the actual capacity of each system and asset, identifying bottlenecks and evaluating different alternatives improvement from a bottom-up analysis of the process. I also have a cross training (Mechanical and Industrial) that allows me to apply the concepts of reliability engineering to all production process in order to qualitatively and quantitatively diagnose critical equipment and systems, relying on computer-based analysis tools.
