Management and reception service of the Urban Center exhibition spac, independently
done: explain urban transformations of Turin Metropolitan Area to students, citizens and
tourists who came to visit the space daily.
Be present in urban itineraries planned weekly, organized in order to walk around the city
explaining urban transformation to citizens, tourist and students.
Secretarial duties and administrative activities: take care of webmail, sent periodically
newsletter, make appointments, make different errands, sale of products offered by the
Urban Center (books, notebooks, publishing, urban itineraries).
Organization and communication of public events planned in the center or elsewhere, in
order to talk about urban issues with citizens and experts in the field.
Research in urban field and collaboration in production of articles or presentations of the
Urban Center association.

Take care of Urban Committee site, facebook page and newsletter in order to: document
or update about the current situation of urban trasformation (work progress); tell about
before and after transformation; inform about events organized in the neighbourhood etc.
Find documentation (going around the neighborhood) of current situation of the
conversion areas, or those still to be converted; following work progress; taking pictures;
collecting information and citizens instances in order to inform about problems encountered
in the neighborhood, like:
- current situation of neighbourhood gardens and parks: presence of damaged games;
vandalized benches or those that need to be repainting; urban decoration damaged etc;
- collaboration in the arrangement of common areas (courtyards, gardens, private area)
with their own tools.
Creation of information panels placed in the converted areas.
Production of leaflets in order to promote scheduled events in Barriera di Milano (some
promoted by the Urban Committee itself, others in collaboration with other subjects
operating in the neighbourhood).
The realization of a “diary” about the urban garden realized in the neighbourhood, which
tells about the transformation of the area.
Realization of power point illustrations of the work developed by the Urban Committee
for presentation or also as a documentation of the work done.

Revision of the Regional Urban Planning Law of Piedmont: study, analysis and
comparison between regulatory changes made by Regional Urban Planning Law n°
3/2013 and the innovation introduced by the law; re-elaboration of the data of Moncalieri
municipality, supplied by the Piedmont Region, through the QuantumGIS program and
the new "CSI Atlante" plugin.
Census of the production areas situated in the South-West Turin Metropolitan Area:
cognitive survey about uses of existing production areas and identification of areas that
are still available with this destination: identification and delimitation of the involved
municipalities of the South-West quadrant: data acquisition about the current use of the
areas, provided by the municipalities; data processing: data analysis acquired related to
the territorial dynamics; production of cartography through Quantum GIS tool.
