Workplace The FBK-IRVAPP (the Research Institute for the Evaluation of Public Policies of the Bruno Kessler Foundation) is located in Trento (Italy).
Its scientific mission includes the evaluation of public policies, as well as the dissemination of findings from this research, the promotion of a culture of policy evaluation and the training of policy evaluators and policy makers.
he Institute primarily conducts empirical research, focusing on counterfactual analysis of the causal effects of public policies and on microsimulations using administrative data.
The current research activities include the analysis of public policies and programs in the areas of education, labor market, industrial and innovation policy, welfare and social policy.
The institute invites junior researchers to apply for a position as a Junior Technologist.

Support the research teams in creating and maintaining data repositories for public policy evaluation.
Support the research teams in the visualization of results, also for the purpose of dissemination.
Perform such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Director.
Collaborate with senior researchers and technologists at the Institute on specific projects.
Job requirements The ideal candidate should have.
Master degree in a Social Science field (Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Statistics or related disciplines) - the degree must be obtained by the start date of the FBK contract; Strong data management skills, with specific regard to data extraction, transformation and processing (e.
.
web scraping, natural language processing, browser automation); Strong programming skills (e.
., Python; SQL; R; Stata); Familiarity with policy evaluation research; Oral and written proficiency in English; Oral and written proficiency in Italian.
Additional requirements.
Experience in digital media/content creation.
