ACCOUNTANT (ACCOUNTS PAYABLE)

Commercial & Industrial Our Client is an international trading company with over 20 years experience in ferroalloys products, with a presence in multiple locations in Europe, Asia and the US.
We are looking for a new AP Accountant Skills required.
Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounting or Accounting diploma Advanced command of English Advances knowledge of MS Excel Strong analytical skills 1-3 years of working experience as Accountant in commodity trading/shipping companies within a multinational environment Good knowledge of accounting practices in Switzerland Knowledge of MS Dynamics NAV would be a plus Fluency in other languages will be considered as an advantage Attentive, detail oriented, well-organized, results oriented and proactive Team player.
Key tasks and responsibilities.
Daily responsibilities.
Accurate and timely booking of service provider invoices as to document date, due date, posting date, expense codes and correct allocation to inventory movements Follow-up with Operations department on pending invoices, analyse causes and take appropriate actions Addressing supplier requests on their invoices Back-up of the registering of peer purchase invoices during his/her absence Monthly/ Quartely Closing Responsibilities.
Preparation of monthly reconciliations with US entity Overall post-check of cost allocations (incl.
US entity) using analytical tools Review of payments not matched with invoices with further appropriate follow-up Reconciliation with vendors Reclassification of Trade payables and Advances issued from suppliers Ad-hoc tasks Annual Closing Responsibilities.
Preparation of reports on COGS and AP according to external auditor’s request Preparation of confirmations for the annual audit Ad-hoc tasks from management and supervisors.
