About the role.
As a experienced Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data within Corporate accounts through journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
Your responsibilities will span multiple aspects of accounting and financial management, requiring strong understanding of accounting principles.
You will also cooperate with different parties in the process of financial statements preparation and review of postings accuracy, as well as support for statutory audits.
Results of the individual work must result in accurate month end close and financial information for key stakeholders within Organization.
You will report to the Senior Manager EMEA GAC.
This is a Hybrid position, with commutable access to our Offices located in Monfalcone (Italy).
Key Responsibilities.
Monthly/Quarterly/Annual GL Journal Bookings and month end-close review Ensure compliance with accounting standards (US GAAP & Local GAAP) and company policies in all journal booking activities.
Ensure all the month end close entries have been posted as required.
Provide support and insights as needed to address any discrepancies or issues in the TB.
Perform reconciliations, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies identified during the reconciliation process.
Obtain balance confirmations and proactively resolve any discrepancies.
Collaborate with relevant teams to rectify any identified discrepancies.
Assisting with Audits and Financial Statements preparation process Conduct ad hoc analysis of various types of financial information as required.
Qualifications.
2 - 4 years in accounting, finance.
Graduate in Accounting Italian CA (or equivalent) Excel expert user Good written and spoken English Experience with enterprise information systems SAP, Quasar X #LI-Hybrid     Why Westinghouse?
