About the role.
As a Accounting Manager, you will help ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data within Corporate accounts through journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
Your responsibilities will span different aspects of accounting and financial management requiring understanding of accounting principles.
You will also partner with multiple parties in the process of financial statements preparation and review of postings accuracy, as well as support for statutory audits.
Results of the individual work must result in accurate month end close and financial information for partners within Organization.
You will report to the Senior Manager EMEA Global Accounting and be located in Monfalcone (Italy).
The position is hybrid, with the possibility of flexible work arrangements.
Main Responsibilities.
Monthly/Quarterly/Annual GL Journal Bookings and month end-close review Ensure compliance with accounting standards (US GAAP & Local GAAP) and company policies in all journal booking activities.
Ensure all the month end close entries have been posted.
Provide support and insights to address any discrepancies or issues in the TB.
Perform reconciliations, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies identified during the reconciliation process.
Obtain balance confirmations and resolve any discrepancies.
Collaborate with relevant teams to rectify any identified discrepancies.
Help with Audits and Financial Statements preparation process Conduct ad hoc analysis of different types of financial information.
Support the existing finance team in several European Countries, with a focus on Italy.
Manage the finance local team Qualifications.
5+ years of experience in accounting, finance.
Graduate in Accounting Italian CA (or equivalent) Good written and spoken English, Experience with enterprise information systems SAP, Quasar X #LI-Hybrid     Why Westinghouse?
